The Kupo Tripod Base allows free-standing use of the Kupole in situations where the ceiling is too high or unstable, as with a drop ceiling. The base is especially useful for shooting outdoors. Simply remove the Kupole's bottom rubber pad, slide the pole through the base, and replace the pad.
