The GVM Dolly Track Camera Slider can be used as a slider or a skate dolly. It comes with two sliding tracks of different lengths, to be used interchangeably as your needs require. One track is 31.5" long and the other 15.75" long for shots closer to your subject, especially in tight spots. Included front and rear wheels attach to the ends of the track and can be left there at all times. Built-in height adjustment risers allow you to raise the wheels off the ground/surface so you can use the sliding track only. Thanks to these risers the wheels don't need to be removed and you can switch back to them for dolly action by adjusting the risers, but the wheels can be removed if you want. The weight capacity is 11 lb when using either track, so you can mount your camera loaded with various accessories.
The sliding camera carriage features a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and also offers 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory mounting threads and a bubble level. A 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 bushing adapter is also included so you can attach compatible tripod heads or ball heads to the camera platform. On the bottom of the sliding track, there are also 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 tripod mount threads, so this compact dolly/slider allows for use on the ground, desktops, and mounted on a tripod.
