LightWave ChronoSculpt 1.0 is a standalone application that provides a new way of working with animation and dynamic simulation cache files from any 3D software application. It does so by allowing you to use sculpting and transformation tools over time. At the same time, the application also features an advanced geometry engine that enables you to handle huge geometry files. The enhanced engine lets you perform deformation and manipulation of 8 to 10 million polygon objects in a simple manner. When working with vertex cache files in universal file types such as Alembic or Autodesk Geometry Cache, you can use ChronoSculpt to quickly paint out errors on your dynamic simulations or even fully transform the look of a subject with layered sculpting "clips" in the timeline, or change the look globally to affect each frame in the cache animation. Another standout feature in ChronoSculpt is the ability to export any single frame from your sculpt or deformation directly to a LightWave Endomorph or OBJ object file. By allowing you to quickly make changes to the baked dynamic simulation cache files to address simulation jitter or soft body penetrations, as well as allowing you to remove stray simulation pieces, ChronoSculpt helps you finish a shot or project much faster than usual. ChronoSculpt is compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux systems.
