LightWave NevronMotion 1.0 is a motion capture retargeting plug-in for LightWave 3D 11.6 or higher. NevronMotion provides an easy way of retargeting the motion onto your character in LightWave Layout, highly simplifying the motion capture workflow. Simply load motion capture files in FBX or BVH format and quickly adjust rig joints to compensate for any joint placement inaccuracies. After that, bake out your final animation directly to your character rig. NevronMotion also supports the Microsoft Kinect camera and lets you create your own motions with it to streamline character movement. NevronMotion includes retargeting presets for FBX and BVH files and allows you to fully customize your rig retargeting. You can also save your own retargeting presets after setting up the rig retargeting mapping. These presets can later be used with custom motion capture libraries. The plug-in also features a rig preset specifically for the Kinect camera to enable you to puppet a character rig in real time. These Kinect mocap performances can also be recorded and saved to your library for future use. The optional Kinect camera can be used with NevronMotion in Windows for PC users or in Boot Camp for Mac users.
