The LiteShaper Flexible LED Panel from Savage is a versatile mat that can be rolled, bent, shaped into an arc, or configured in any way that fits your subject's requirements. The mat has a solid 5700K color temperature that makes it ideal for outdoor locations or seamlessly integrating with other daylight-balanced fixtures. Its CRI rating of 93 is an indicator of a high degree of accuracy in the rendition of color. The LightShaper comes with a full complement of supports and accessories and has the potential to become a component in various light modifiers.
Although it's flexible, there's a frame included for those times that you need a rigid panel. The frame ships with a tilting 5/8" stand mount and a diffuser. Touch-fastener straps are included to attach the mat to a speedlight for on-camera video, or to serve as a modeling light for the flash. You can even attach it (or several of them) to the interior of a softbox like an Octa—again, for use as a constant light source or as a modeling light for use in conjunction with a strobe.
All of this is made simple by the fact that the LightShaper is an AC/DC source. Its battery (with a 3.5-hour runtime) or AC adapter can be attached to the light stand in use with the included holder. Lastly, while you can make light intensity adjustments locally on the fixture, you can also make them wirelessly with the provided remote control.
