The 36" White and Black Umbrella from Savage is a light shaper with a white interior that renders a soft, flattering neutral quality of light with moderate, manageable contrast. To that end Savage has coated the umbrella's inner frame white, not only to retain the soft light quality but to minimize its appearance in the catchlights in a portrait subject's eyes. The umbrella has a black backing to minimize light loss and spill light while maximizing output.
