The WiMi6400 3G-SDI, HDMI & VGA H.264 Decoder/Receiver from Nimbus supports up to a 1080p60 signal over a twisted pair connection to a network or over a direct twisted pair connection to the optional WiMi6400 transmitter. For network connections, IP addresses are matched up with the transmitter via a Web User Interface. An unlimited number of units can be set up for multicasting from the transmitter by using a multicast IP address.
In all cases, distances are limited to the maximum length your twisted pair cabling allows. Latency is only 80ms. Cat 5e and higher cables are supported. The receiver accepts the signal encoded in H.264 and decodes and outputs it as video.
Also, output video can be scaled to up to 1080p60 via the Web UI. Additionally, a full-duplex serial port allows relaying external control signals for applications such as digital signage.
